Please note that Vita was a short‐duration outcome from one of the MA User Experience workshops by the amazing Mor Bakal, with this specific one touching base on Wireframing and User Personas.
Background
In this project, I explored the design of a healthcare mobile application aimed at improving the patient experience by enabling appointment booking, medication tracking, and allergy management. The application sought to streamline healthcare processes, enhance patient-provider communication, and promote better healthcare outcomes.
Appointment Booking
Allow patients to schedule appointments with their healthcare providers easily.
Medication Tracking
Enable patients to record and track their medications, including dosages and schedules.
Allergy Management
Help patients manage their allergies by providing a platform to list allergens and potential reactions.

Features
User Registration and Authentication
Patients would create accounts with their personal information, medical history, and contact details. Authentication mechanisms like two-factor authentication would be implemented for security.
Appointment Booking
Patients would be able to search for healthcare providers, view their availability, and book appointments based on their preferences.
Medication Tracking
Patients would add and manage their medications by specifying dosage, frequency, and start/end dates. The app will send reminders for timely medication intake.
Medication and Allergy Interaction Check
Vita would have an interactive feature that cross-references medications with allergies to provide safety alerts to users.
Health Records Access
With patient consent, healthcare providers could access essential medical records, promoting better-informed decisions.
Emergency Contact Integration
Users would link emergency contacts, enabling quick access to crucial information during emergencies.

Take‐aways
Vita could be a mobile healthcare application that empowers patients to manage their healthcare efficiently by enabling appointment booking, medication tracking, and allergy management. It would also aim to enhance patient engagement, improve healthcare outcomes, and contribute to a more streamlined healthcare ecosystem. With careful implementation and continuous improvement based on user feedback, Vita could make a significant positive impact on the lives of patients and healthcare providers alike.
